DESCRIPTION

Continuing the Cape Verde series Mar & Sol relaunch this fantastic master piece, LP ”Nha D’stine” from the legendary singer Américo Brito and his band Djarama.
It was the 3rd LP Américo Brito recorded in his life.
Originally released by himself in 1983 and now in 2018 we bring it back to life with the stamp of our label, from Mar & Sol records to all the world.
Américo Brito was born in the island of Fogo, Cape Verde, when he was a very young boy he came to Portugal and recorded his first success, the Lp “Sintado na Pracinha” in 1980.
After three years he moved to Rotterdam in Netherlands, city he choose to live like many other Cape Verdians at the time.
He had a very important role in the development of his community fighting to the civil rights of the Cape Verdians in Rotterdam and spreading the musical culture of his country.
